Molds

The mold is created from the negative of the master. The mold is then used to inject wax to create a wax piece which will be used for casting.

There are two main families in which the mold can be produced from:

Silicon

Higher definition but shorter lifespan.

Rubber

Less definition but longer lifespan. 

Depending on the needs of the piece, we will choose which material is best suited for the task. For example, our semi-automated wax injecting system can only use silicon, making it more viable for molds.

Following steps to create a mold:

First covering the master with the rubber

Vulcanize the rubber

Cutting the mold

Once the rubbers are done we can proceed to mass production. The pieces will go to all the traditional steps :
