Jewelry plating regulations and durability compliance standards

Plating Regulations

Plating is a complex subject with different legislation depending on the country where you want to sell. To adjust the price and meet regulations, you can adjust the thickness.

Please note that we don't know all legislation from different countries, and some don't have minimum requirements. Contact us for more information.

Important Note on Durability

What is the difference and why should you have a thicker layer? Well, mainly for legislation and durability. But you must keep in mind that gold plating is only a plating and after time, depending on the way you use it, you will get under the color of the original material even if it can take years.
